Rev. Stephen Wengam hails from Paknatik in the Bukpurugu-Yoyoo district of the Northern Region of Ghana.
He is an ordained minister with the Assemblies of God, Ghana.
He holds a BSc. Admin, Marketing option from the University of Ghana and a certificate in Corporate Governance from the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA).
Rev. Wengam also holds a Master of Theology degree from the International Theological Seminary, U.S.A. and a Diploma in Christian Clinical Counseling from the same university.
He is the Founding/Lead Pastor of Cedar Mountain Chapel, East Legon, a thriving branch of the Assemblies of God, Ghana.
He is the Senior Resident Radio Pastor of Citi 97.3FM, hosting the programme, “THIS IS YOUR DAY” – a family morning devotion programme that runs from Monday to Saturday, 4:00 – 6:00am.
Rev. Wengam is the immediate past Chairman of Ghana Prisons Service Council. Through the support of President John Mahama and under the visionary leadership of Rev. Wengam, the 6th Prisons Council launched a ten (10) year strategic plan and a self-help project christened “Project Efiase” where they solicited public and private sector support to transform Ghana’s prisons into centres of excellence.
As the West Africa Executive Coordinator of Global Leadership Training, U.S.A, he has coordinated training conferences for civic, corporate, political, religious and emerging leaders since 2008.
He is highly regarded as a spiritual mentor and coach to political, civic and corporate leaders.
He is the author of the best-selling book, 365 Prayer Missiles.
Rev. Wengam is married to Monica and the union is blessed with two children – Ithra Nana Frema and Matthew-King Baanaan.
He is widely travelled and has preached the word of God in many countries in Europe, U.S.A., Asia, Middle East and Africa.
